Pickup from Tokyo (8:00 AM)
Depart from central Tokyo with a private driver and guide.
Enjoy comfortable transportation with Mt. Fuji-themed commentary during the drive (approx. 2 hours).
Mt. Fuji 5th Station (10:30 AM – 11:30 AM)
Ascend to the 5th Station (weather permitting), located halfway up the mountain at 2,300 meters.
Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and a close-up of Mt. Fuji’s peak.
Browse local souvenir shops and snap photos at the iconic Komitake Shrine.
Learn about Mt. Fuji’s sacred status in Shinto and Japanese mythology.
Oshino Hakkai Village (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
Visit Oshino Hakkai, a picturesque village known for its eight crystal-clear spring ponds fed by Mt. Fuji’s melted snow.
Walk among thatched-roof houses and traditional gardens.
Try freshly made yuba (tofu skin), grilled mochi, or sweet potato soft serve from local street vendors.
Optional cultural experience: Visit the Hannoki Bayashi Shiryokan open-air museum (small entry fee).
Lunch at Lake Kawaguchiko (1:30 PM – 2:30 PM)
Enjoy a relaxing lunch with stunning lake and mountain views.
Choose from local specialties like:
- Hōtō udon (a hearty miso soup with flat noodles and vegetables)
- Tempura and soba
- Lake fish or vegetarian options
Some venues offer lakeside seating with Fuji in full view.
Lake Kawaguchiko Sightseeing (2:30 PM – 3:30 PM)
Stroll along the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, one of the Fuji Five Lakes.
Stop by Oishi Park for seasonal flowers and postcard-worthy views of Mt. Fuji reflecting on the lake. The nearby Ubuyagasaki Shrine is a MUST for a good picture.
Optional: Take the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway up Mt. Tenjo for a sweeping view of the lake and mountain (ticket not included).
Return to Tokyo (3:30 PM – 5:00 PM)
Sit back and relax during your drive back to the city.
Optional: Stop at a roadside rest area with local produce and handmade crafts.
